BNPL Firms Set to be Subject to FCA Regulations
The UK government has announced a consultation on proposals to bring BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) firms under the supervision of the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). The consultation will close on the 29th November 2024, with legislation expected to go through Parliament in early 2025 and come into effect in 2026.
