A leading investment bank asked Juniper to perform due diligence on a key mobile games company which they were considering purchasing.
We visited the company’s headquarters in Hong Kong, interviewed its management team and assessed its corporate documentation. We subsequently provided our client with a detailed SWOT analysis of the target company, together with a comparative analysis of its product offering relative to its peers. We also submitted a series of key recommendations identifying required changes to the target company’s management structure, product output and core business model to maximise that company’s potential on an ongoing basis.
Our client accepted our recommendations and proceeded with the acquisition. The changes to the core business model were implemented as per our recommendations and a highly successful transaction was completed.
A leading OSS/BSS provider required an analyst partner with a strong market presence and credibility in order to produce a joint whitepaper for current and prospective customers. Juniper was selected, and developed a bespoke whitepaper on the strategic opportunities for telcos in the app store space around mobile payments. A particular focus was made of their cloud-based gateway solution for mobile payment transactions.

The whitepaper was made available for download on the client website and through a global press release. Juniper also made it available to its database of 20,000 subscribers.
The whitepaper experienced very high download levels, driving new traffic to the client website, raising awareness of their product portfolio and generating important new opportunities.
A tier 1 network operator needed a deeper understanding of the M2M enterprise space across specific countries and companies in order to make a number of strategic decisions. They approached Juniper to assist them in this project.
Juniper provided the client with a detailed Excel model which estimated the size of the opportunity per corporate customer, modelling the size of M2M revenues and the number of connections for a given company over a five year period for more than 200 players. The forecasts were accompanied by a detailed methodology and a series of assumptions underpinning the forecast inputs.
The operator used our market sizing and forecasting data to inform its strategic planning process and formulate their expansion into the enterprise M2M market. They are now one of the world’s leaders in this space.
A tier 1 messaging company required the services of a ‘respected analyst house’ to provide expertise at a key client event. Juniper was selected to deliver presentations to their MNO clients at a series of workshops across Scandinavia, providing an independent analyst assessment of key trends and developments in the messaging space.
Juniper prepared and delivered a series of presentations covering the evolution of messaging services (SMS, OTT, RCS and beyond), highlighting the key trends which had defined this evolution, the challenges across the value chain and the emergence of new business models in this marketplace, together with a discussion of our forecasts for future growth in this sector.
