Infobip recently won awards in our Future Digital Awards Telco Innovation category.

We interviewed their team to find our more about their award-winning digital CPaaS platform, how they expect the CPaaS ecosystem to evolve, and the current challenges to the market.

Except from the interview:

Juniper Research interviewed Mijo Soldin, Director Operator Strategy and Partnerships
at Infobip, in January 2021.

1.1.1 What makes Infobip’s CPaaS platform different from others in the market?

Infobip is known for serving both enterprises and mobile operators, and I believe that our relationship with carriers is what sets Infobip apart.  Mobile operators are an overlooked growth factor in the CPaaS space. Not only are there numerous partnership options to enable them to
launch CPaaS solutions as part of their enterprise services portfolio, but they are also a major potential client for their customer communication purposes.

CPaaS is more than mere communications channels, it’s also about tools, workflows, best practices and client education, and Infobip’s global experience in enterprise CPaaS has been put to good use with operators. On the other hand, they have a longer buying cycle, and that is where our experience with MNOs comes into play. As they have been a key half of our business ever since Infobip was founded, we understand their needs and processes, which allows us to offer tailored and flexible solutions that fit with their strategies. Despite the more complex way operators do business, we’re seeing great interest and uptake worldwide, which is something we expect to continue and pick up pace in 2021 and beyond.

1.1.2 What benefits can enterprises gain from adopting Infobip’s CPaaS platform?

User experience is the key to a successful business. Our enterprise clients see that and strive to meet the expectations of their customers, and that is also what we are doing every day when it comes to the user experience of our clients. Graphical drag-and-drop interfaces have become the norm in CPaaS and the various channels working in concert require extensive management features, so we’ve been putting significant effort in designing our client-facing tools to make them as easy and intuitive to use as possible. Our current iteration is the pinnacle of years of work, implementing all our experiences and client feedback, and we have heard from more than one client that our portal beats some other similar solutions hands down.
