Insights: GSMA Launches the GSMA MoTIF to Classify Threat Actors in Telecom Networks

In April 2024, the GSMA announced it had published a new tool for the telecommunications security industry called MoTIF (Mobile Threat Intelligent Framework).

The framework was developed by GSMA members and is designed to classify threat actors found over telecommunications networks. Threat intelligence frameworks were needed, as the mobile industry has not yet had a way to identify and analyse the different tactics and techniques used by threat actors.
