For the second year running, Juniper Research is delighted to be supporting St Michael’s Hospice in Basingstoke, Hampshire, as its gold sponsor for their Walk for the Hospice event on Sunday 23rd April. As part of Juniper Research’s commitment to supporting the charity, this follows a series of volunteering events by all staff members at the hospice’s distribution centre. Members of Juniper Research’s team will also be joining the 5.1-mile country walk, which journeys through exclusive grounds of the prestigious Farleigh Wallop Estate in the Hampshire countryside, followed by a well-deserved warm drink and sweet treats upon return. St Michael’s Hospice delivers invaluable care for hundreds of patients and their families every year. This year, it will cost £5.8m to run the hospice’s services, for which they receive only 16% from the NHS, with the rest needing to be raised by the local community. CEO Tony Crabtree comments: “We are very pleased to be continuing Juniper Research’s relationship with St Michael’s Hospice for a second year. Their work within the local community is absolutely essential, and we are delighted to be able to continually support them in their efforts.”
