Describe/Tell us about your role at Dimoco?

Together with my brother and associate Gerald Tauchner I founded DIMOCO in September 2000. Over the years, DIMOCO has become a leading mobile operator payment and messaging provider. In my role as President and CEO of DIMOCO I am responsible for corporate Finance and IT. After 15 years on the market we have gained a lot of experience and built a great infrastructure which is constantly being developed by our IT department.

Could you give us some background on the services offered by Dimoco?

With our mobile operator payment and messaging products, we support companies in billing their digital content services via the consumers’ mobile network operator bill and handling their mobile messaging transactions. Therefore, we have worked on the continuous development of our mobile payment and messaging hub and are connected to mobile network operators all over Europe.

Tell us about the main trends you've observed in the above sectors over the past 12 months?

We see a trend towards all areas in the digital content industry. The market will explode over the next few years as more and more people use these services on a variety of devices. This so called multiscreen usage will spawn even more digital content services. So, what we do at DIMOCO is to support these digital content companies in maximizing their sales revenues by reaching a wider target group in addition to the other digital content billing methods they are using. These trends also show us a need for additional security mechanisms like an easy 2-way-authentification via SMS or as the banking industry would say, mobile TANs. The Application-to-Person- and Person-to-Application SMS market will grow enormously over the next few years.

How has your business benefited from Juniper Research?
