Data Admin & Marketing Assistant

Full time, Permanent

About Us

We are a small, friendly team based in Basingstoke, with regular social events and activities. We’re within easy reach of Basingstoke railway station via a free courtesy bus, the M3 motorway and the A33 road between Basingstoke and Reading.

The Role

Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be joining our Marketing & Development team based in our Basingstoke office.  Working in a small team, you’ll help to manage our data systems and be involved in the production of our research products, marketing and promotional materials.

Main Duties:
  • Upload data provided by our Analyst team into our own online data platform, harvest.
  • Check harvest for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Help to produce Excel spreadsheets with data provided by our Analyst team.
  • Produce sample spreadsheet reports for the Sales team.
  • Help with the testing of new features and updates to the harvest system.
  • Research websites for publicly held data and add to harvest.
Other Duties:

You may also be required to assist with other duties within the Marketing & Development team, including performing Google keyword research, helping with the SEO optimisation of our website, assisting with the management of the website content, plus other duties as required.

This is a great role for anyone interested in Digital Marketing, Data Management or Administration, as the role will give you experience in all of these areas.

All relevant training will be provided, however the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes and skills:

Essential:
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Good standard of written and spoken English
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
Desirable:
  • Experiencing of using a website CMS system (eg Wordpress, Wix, Drupal, Kentico, etc)
  • Experience in database management
  • Experience in proofreading
  • Experience in working in an office environment
  • Experience in digital marketing or publishing
  • Experience/interest in the technology industry

Market Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop strong subject matter expertise on cutting edge digital technologies.
  • To author high quality research reports in a highly readable format that provides insight and value to Juniper Research’s clients.
  • To develop market sizing and forecasting models, together with insightful analysis and commentary.
  • To support the sales and marketing team in the creation of marketing content including press releases, marketing texts and infographics.
  • To work with senior analysts to produce research proposals for new and updated topics and client requests.
  • To assist in the delivery of client consultancy projects, bespoke reports and customer forecasts.
  • To contribute to news articles, journalist interviews and social media, and eventually speak at industry conferences and present to clients.
  • To contribute to team goals, special projects and database development.
