Thanks for your comment. As I mention in the blogpost, I don&#039;t think this development will have a major impact on the number of global NFC phones - but it will contribute. As you say, it will be interesting to see the take-up amongst iPhone users.

I&#039;m curious about the user experience and the end-user adoption. In my opinion only if the handset manufacturer will integrate NFC, we&#039;ll start seeing the acceptance from the merchants, regardless if for payment or couponing.

For mobile couponing we use simple viewing of the coupon, alphanumeric codes or barcodes (1D and 2D), until NFC becomes more widely used.</description>
